The Security backup tool will back up your system to another device separate to your hard drive, preferably a DVD or USB key drive. Finally, the ’Settings’ tool deletes unnecessary files, defrags the hard drive, searches for viruses and other unwanted programmes, searches for files to make backups and finds security updates. The app demonstrates the new shift in policy from Microsoft, as the programs are free, but the services offered aren´t, which have to be paid for to enjoy.
